At Pink Designs we have 3 design stages, pre-design, the design process and the construction, which is commenced one after the other. The design stages manage the development of the brief and guides our customers through the consultation process, design construction, maintaining and delivering. It is a structure for all construction projects and is used only as a guidance for the grounding of detailed professional services and building contracts.

Stage 1: Pre-design Concept and Development Brief

Stage 2: Developing the Concept

  • Structural changes to the building and appointing necessary professionals if required (e.g. structural engineers)
  • Client purchase list (sourcing materials, fixtures and finishes)
  • Window treatments and furnishings
  • Sourcing (materials, fixtures and finishes)
  • Development of plans and elevations
  • Positioning of services including electrics and plumbing
  • Positioning of light fittings
  • Floor finishes, wall treatments, window treatments and light fittings
  • Outline items to finish rooms
  • Detailed architectural finishes (e.g. cornices, skirting, fireplaces)
  • Detailed joinery requirements (e.g. built in wardrobes)
